Reflection 6

    This week we learned about google ads and keywords. This is something I grew up being aware of but not truly knowing how it worked. It was really cool to be able to look into how things work and to be able to find the right keywords to represent my business. I have not really thought about the kind of words you would have to use to find the right audience, but after reading into it it makes sense not to go too broad and not to go too narrow in the words you are describing your business as. I think it is often times a bigger mistake to get too narrow in the words because then you will not pull up on searches and will only be there for very specific searches, this can be dangerous and slow down traffic to your site. Going too broad in your description may also be something to your detriment as well because people will not be clicking on your ad because it had nothing to do with what they were searching for. It is all in finding the happy medium, and this can take time and practice.
