Reflection 1

    I am very excited about the perspective of this class and what it will be able to do for me. I have had an online business for years, I have not tried very hard to gain clients because it is mostly for fun and people I know usually order. This class has made me excited to learn how to make it bigger and more efficient to start working on the thing I have dreamed of for so long. Doing the case discussions this week has helped me a lot to brainstorm different marketing and business techniques. If I can learn a lot in just this week I am excited in what I will learn in the weeks to come. This is important to me because I love the idea of being able to work at home with my future family, I want to be able to make money for my family but still have time for my children at home. Doing an online business will give me just that and I am glad for the blessing of technology.

Reflection 9

 13 March 2021 Reflection 9     I really enjoyed everything that we did this week, especially starting to run our google ads. I think that was really fun to see the outcomes and to see the amount of clicks I was getting from the ads. I got a few clicks and a lot of impressions and a sale from it! It was fun to see the success that comes from it as well and the changes it makes when you narrow down your keywords as well to optimize your clicks and impressions. I have very much enjoyed selling my stickers and have already made 30 sales of them! I am over the $100 mark in sales but I still have more stickers to sell so I am not over $100 in profits. Which is okay with me I will get there eventually, it is just fun to see how things change as you market your product differently as well.

Reflection 10

 16 March 2021 Reflection 10     I really enjoyed learning about landing page optimization and basic SEO this week I definitely was opened to a whole new bunch of things that I should fix on my Google AdWords to make it better and make my conversion better as well. One thing that I noticed that I had not fixed before was my landing page on my Google AdWords was bringing people to my homepage, which they would then leave quickly. I did not understand why people were not staying and moving to multiple pages on my site. Then I did the reading from this week and realize the page I brought my link to was not showing the stickers right off the bat. To optimize the people that actually buy my product I need to show them the product I was offering in the ad immediately after they click on the ad. So I was able to change that and hopefully I will begin to see more of a success with that.

Reflection 2

 23 January 2021 Reflection 2     Learning about Affiliate Marketing and Drop Shipping was the most exciting topic this week. It made me super interested at the possibility of being able to do that! Though it seems simple I know it would take a lot of work to set up the audience needed to be successful. I love being able to talk to other classmates in discussion groups and being able to see other's point of views on the subject as well because they can point out things I never would have thought of before. I find it very interesting the way drop shipping is something that people do a lot, I guess I never really understood how people bought and sold their products, or how businesses ran their inventory. I never understood how it worked but now that I see the ground level of some of these businesses that I know of, it becomes easier to imagine a time that I could have a successful business as well doing some of these techniques.
